Ministry of Justice will soon effect a new rapid finalization mechanism governing the investigation procedures.

The Investigation Offices, Ministry of Justice is going to launch a new measure! In order to simplify the investigation procedures taken by the prosecutors, and save people’s efforts from running to and fro of the court, a rapid finalization mechanism will be made effective from January 1, 2004.

This said mechanism that will be adopted by all the investigation offices shortly, however, this act is applicable to minor or less-complex ones only. The cases will be firstly dealt by the prosecutor on duty, and followed by a detailed investigation once and for all. Minor cases will be finalized with the decision rendered and notified to the defendant on the same day, if the investigations thereof are completed and the evidence solidly confirmed. (2003.12)
