Strengthen Finance of Intellectual Property Right of Small and Medium Enterprises Credit Guarantee Fund Guarantee to Add NT$200,000,000.

The Executive Yuan decided to increase the target amount of credit guarantee of the Small and Medium Business Credit Guarantee Fund from original NT$100,000,000 to NT$200,000,000. As we are informed, this measure will strengthen finance field of intellectual property right and thus has more benefit to the emerging small and medium enterprises.

Since the amount of cases in finance field of intellectual property right is relatively low among all cases of last year, this year the government will strengthen to enhance the rate the financial of intellectual property right so that the bank in charge may process certain rate of finance of intellectual property right within the anticipated financial amount. In addition, Credit Guarantee Fund will provide 10% guarantee as the highest guarantee for knowledge-based industry that have huge capital needs and difficulties in finance. (2005.5)
