IP Professionals Training Begins! IP Protection Awareness Takes Root.

Taiwan IP professionals training begins !

 

The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) established the “IP Academy” administrative office in June 2005, recruiting 7 experts from the industry, the government, and the academia who are devoted to IP research to comprise the teams in charge of courses scheduling and teaching materials design.  Also, among the local universities, training institutes, and organizations around the island, the selection board also invited and chose National Taipei University of Technology, Shih Hsin University, Chinese National Federation of Industries, Portal of University Resources, INC., Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, Tze-Chiang Foundation of Science & Technology, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, NCKU Research and Development Foundation, and National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology as the 9 training centers of the Academy. 

 

The IPR court will soon be established and the legislation of Patent Agent Law is also being moved by sustained efforts in Taiwan.  It is obvious that the cultivation of IP professionals turns out to be the most significant task in Taiwan at the moment. (2005.11)
