Professional Courts will be Set Up for Medical Disputes.

In view of the fact that medical disputes are successively brought into the discussions in Legislative Yuan and also that judges have to quote the medical appraisal report in the trial of the case, the Committee of Sanitation and Environment as well as Social Welfare examined and passed yesterday the revised draft of Medical Treatment Law, which stipulates that the Judicial Yuan should set up medical professional courts held by such judges of relevant medical knowledge or relevant trial experiences to handle the litigations pertaining to medical disputes.
