Directorate General of Customs Legislates Safeguard Provision to Regulate Determination of Origin and Customs Value Disputes.

Customs reforms have made significant advances. In order to maintain importers’ rights and interests, Directorate General of Customs specially legislates safeguard provision in relation to origin determination and approval of customs value of imported goods to definitely stipulate that enterprises can take the initiative in requesting assistance from the competent or professional authorities of the goods in case any disputes arise about origin determination made by the customs of the place of entry.
