Non-Alcoholic Beverages of SUNTORY, Japan Will Be Launched into Taiwan’s Beverage Market.

SUNTORY Taiwan Ltd. (SUNTORY, Japan’s branch in Taiwan) announced that they would launch into Taiwan’s beverage market, and meanwhile promote their three main beverage products, including “アミノ式燃焼系”, “C. C. Lemon”, and “ なっちゃん”. It is estimated that 25 boxes, totaling a turnover of NT$1.5 billions, will be sold within three months after this launch.

 

SUNTORY Taiwan Ltd. manifests that Suntory, which has invested heavily in Taiwan’s alcoholic drinks market, is the second-largest beverage manufacturer in Japan. In consideration of the vitality and potentiality of Taiwan beverage market and in order to follow the worldly-spread tides of health idea, Suntory has planned to make strides across the non-alcoholic beverage market since last year by cooperating with President Chain Store, the local leader of retail channel. Suntory does not exclude the possibility of developing more products that meet Taiwan customers’ taste trends so as to enlarge Suntory’s market. (2004.06)
