The premier of the Ministry of Justice, Chen Ding-Nan indicated while giving a speech at European Chamber of Commerce in Taipei and US Chamber of Commerce yesterday, piracy is in fact a social problem. It is an impractical goal to completely eradicate piracy. It is more reasonable to try to lower the piracy rate to 30% as other advanced countries. The greatest challenge that the law enforcement will be facing in the future is Internet piracy. The Ministry of Justice’s emphasis in raiding piracy will be moving from the physical channels to the virtual space.
