TVCA and JVCA forming an alliance to transfer Japanese technology to Taiwan for the sake of mass production

    A new model of the economic cooperation between Japan and Taiwan is to come out.  Acting as a go-between, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (“METI”) made TVCA and JVCA ally themselves as sister associations.  In the future, the newest fundamental technologies developed by Japanese universities and research institutions can be transferred to Taiwan’s manufacturers in real time via the cooperation between the two associations, so as to make profits by virtue of Taiwan’s superior productive capacity.
