The Ministry of Economic Affairs will launch the appraisal system on culture creativity

To promote development of the industry of invisible assets such as culture creativity and digital content, the Industrial Development Bureau (“IDB”) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs will launch appraisal systems, finance mechanism and completion guarantee systems of UK, Japan and other countries to enhance banks’ finance willingness and cultivate more enterprises.

 

“Completion guarantee” promoted by the IDB’s Team for Promoting Digital Content is a mechanism to guarantee that “creativity” be turned into goods.

 

     No matter transaction, collection of capital, finance is done by invisible assets, or a new company is established by new technologies, the key link is “appraisal.” Therefore, setting up the system for appraisal of invisible assets will be favorable to vitalize the transaction and finance of invisible assets. The IDB will also practice, this August, the system of patent auction on a trial basis to test the market response.
