Japan’s Satex Establishes a Branch in Taiwan, Bringing Along Japanese Satellite Broadcasting Programs

   Japan’s Satex, in order to broaden the Chinese market, yesterday officially established a Taiwan branch, which will in the future not only import Japanese broadcasting programs via satellite, but also introduce culture, music, internet games and Japan’s high-tech products and technology into Taiwan.  Satex TV Network is the first non-governmental television network in Japan to carry out overseas broadcasting. It has now established a branch in Taiwan and contracted with TURC to form a business alliance in satellite communications, broadband and visual multi-media, etc. Satex will provide the satellite and digital multi-media programs of Japan and Korea by Satex, and entrust TURC to have the programs promoted to Taiwan, China and Hong Kong markets.
