Company Law in Preparation for Amendment, R&D Technology or Intellectual Property Rights Allowed to Act as Company Sponsor

The Ministry of Economic Affairs has already amended the articles related to the Company Law and broadened the restrictions on foundations acting as company sponsors so as to make it more convenient to establish companies with professional techniques or intellectual property rights. It is expected that this amendment will further strengthen mutual cooperation between R&D units and the enterprise and improve economic development. The Ministry of Economic Affairs hopes that this amendment will pass in this current session in the Legislative Yuan.
