Plan about tax deduction/exemption for R&D and IP service industries fixed next month

The Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs drafted a plan which provides that the incentive standards for emerging tactical industries concerning land tax and other levies shall apply to the R&D and IP service industries.  Enterprises which employ over 10 staffs of which education are at least college or university graduated and engaged in industry analysis, R&D service, patent analysis and other relevant investment may apply for 5-year corporate tax exemption or deduction of shareholder’s investment. The Industrial Development Bureau will recently make the standards for emerging tactical industries apply to R&D and IP service industries.  The plan is to be fixed in mid-February.
