South Korea impose antidumping tax at a rate of 51.72% on Taiwan’s CD-R

The Ministry of Finance, South Korea resolved on January 17, 2002 to impose antidumping customs at a rate of 51.72% for four months from the next week on the CD-Rs which several Taiwan-based manufacturers, including Ritek, exported to Korea.  This resolution was concluded after five-month investigation since the Korean Trading Committee received the accusation of SKC, an optical product manufacturer.  According to the Ministry of Finance, the Trading Committee schedules to give its final decision during April after reviewing the accusation for antidumping.
