HannStar Display will cooperate with Panasonic to manufacture LCD TV panels

HannStar Display Corporation will expand cooperation to another Japan-based manufacturer - Panasonic after its cooperation with Toshiba.  In the future, HannStar will utilize Panasonic’s technical predominance to provide LCD TV panels.  After the mass production of HannStar’s 5^th Generation Panel is carried out in the first season of Year 2004, HannStar and Panasonic will together work for development of the business opportunities for LCD TVs.  In the future, the cooperation mode for panel manufacturers in Taiwan and Japan will become closer and closer in view of the combination of Japanese manufacturers’ technologies and the mass production capability of Taiwanese manufacturer.
