Main Points for Determining Technical Services implemented

To define the scope of "IP technology services" and "R&D services" which were newly included in the emerging, important and strategic industries, the Ministry of Economic Affairs recently approved relevant "Main Points" which were promulgated and implemented on the very day of approval.  IP technology services refer to the provision of services such as IPR searching and IPR marketing, and R&D services refer to market analysis, R&D, design and experiment etc.  Companies approved by the Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA are eligible to enjoy five-year tax-exemption, or tax credit for shareholders.
