To strengthen effect of raid action, reward for reporting counterfeits raised to 10 times

The Executive Yuan, considering that the achievement of raid actions should be strengthened, instructed the Ministry of Finance to enact relevant laws enabling customs offices to attach the goods infringing copyright voluntarily, so as to enhance the border control measures.  Meanwhile, the maximum rewards for reporting counterfeits will also be raised from NT$100,000 to 10 times NT$100,000 (i.e. NT$1,000,000), in order to demonstrate the government’s determination to attack counterfeiters.
