The “Chip Marking” registration policy for Mask-Rom will be enforced as of January 1, 2001 and carried out in the form of registering name list of manufacturers. In view of the fact that photocopy of the chip marking register certificate issued by the organization recognized by the Intellectual Property Office must be attached with the application for the customs’ inspection when the Mask-Rom is exported and the export declaration must specify the code of goods, name of goods and number of the register certificate, the applicant who fails to fulfill the procedures of such registration will be prohibited from exporting the goods.
