Taiwan and Macao promised to provide copyright protection reciprocally

    Macao Office of Mainland Affairs Council indicated that this country had expressed willingness to the government of Macao SAR at the end of last year for offering protection to the works of Macao residents or juridical persons. The government of Macao SAR made a positive response to this country indicating willingness to offer, in Macao, copyright protection to the works of the nationals or juridical persons of this country in accordance with the “Principles of Substantive and Reciprocal Protection.”  The aforementioned reciprocal copyright protection should be carried out after the relevant procedures are finished.
