International non-profit organization, BSA, indicated that following the government’s solidification of protection polices on the intellectual property right and the enterprise employees’ burgeoning legal sense, using unlicensed software is likely to incur civil and criminal liability due to another person’s complaint or the competent authority’s investigation,, which might result in the penalty measuring up to tens of million dollars and severely injure the business image.  In order to call on the enterprise to pay much attention to this problem, BSA will hold an anti-piracy activity until March 31, 2001 in which complainants of the piracy may deserve a large reward.
