Students Swarm into Paying to Use Theses And Academic Paper Offered Online.

It is common nowadays for college students to do academic research by surfing the Internet browsing for materials and ideas to tailor their paper.  The webmaster of passla.com, a new site, is making appeals to college students saying that they may access the complete text of various articles written by others by paying only 15 New Taiwan Dollars each.

Passla.com offers its members a platform for exchanges theses and academic papers.  The website is only about one month old but already has built a subscription base of 2,000 accounts and is offering some 1,000 papers for sale, which cover a wide range of topics including literature, linguistics, social science, political science, civil engineering, legal study, administration, medicine, journalism, biology, agriculture, etc, the most well received being those on business administration and IT.  According to the webmaster of the site, PassLa provides a platform for information exchange.  For what purpose and exactly how the member will use the article purchased is a private and personal matter.  (2006.04)
