IPR Police Team’s Brilliant Achievement in Fight Against IP Infringement.

  The Second Police Preservation Police Corps of National Police Agency has made brilliant achievement since the institution of IPR Police Team.  IPR Police Team had in 2005 ferreted out a large number of counterfeit and infringement cases that cover 30.7% of the cases uncovered by all police agencies and involve more than NT$6.114 billions, which amounts to 50% of the value of the uncovered infringing products. 

  According to the statistics released by the National Police Agency, 4209 cases of IPR infringement cases were uncovered in 2004 with a value of NT$8.607 billions.  In 2005, there was a comparative increase to 4648 cases involving an infringement value reaching to NT$10.886 billions.  (2006.04)
