TIPO Conducts Face-to-face Communication with Applicants via Video Conference on Request for Applicants Not Located in Taipei.

TIPO accepts requests from applicants for answering TIPO’s notice of interview via video conference.  This service kicked off late November 2006.  The applicant may, if necessary, file the request according to the relevant regulations to answer TIPO’s interview at TIPO’s service office in Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan or Kaohsiung, whichever is most convenient to him or her.

According to TIPO’s record, TIPO received a total of 624 requests for answering interviews calls via video confernece in 2006.  This service providing applicants and their attorneys from outside of Taipei where TIPO is located with convenient access to answer TIPO’s interview calls eliminates the barrier to face-to-face communication arising from geographical distance.  This convenience service is, needless to say,  welcomed by corporate applicants located in central or southern Taiwan.  (2006.11)
