TIPO to Form Patent Review Committee. Experts from EPO Shared Experience.

TIPO plans to set up the Patent Review Committee in 2007.  The Committee will basically operate like the EPO Board of Appeal.  TIPO invited members of the Board to Taiwan to share their practical experience.  About 1,500 EPO patents are referred to the Board for review each year and there are currently 3,357 cases pending decision in the Board.  (2006.11)
