IPR Police Team Cracked Down On the Largest Pirated Game Disks Gang Across the Strait.

The IPR Police Team smashed the largest organized criminal group of pirated game disks across the Strait, arresting four Taiwaneses and uncovering a total of 140 thousand pieces of pirated disks for PS2, Wii, and X-BOX with market value of NTD2.6 hundred million.  This case has been referred to the responsible district prosecutors office for thorough investigation. 

According to the IPR Police Team, the raid dealt a severe head-on blow on those crime gangs that seek illegal and extravagant profits and also represents the Taiwan government’s determination to protect intellectual property rights and to combat illegality.  (2010.10)
