VIA won the microchip infringement suit filed by Intel

　The U.S. court trying the microchip infringement suit brought by Intel rendered the judgment last week in VIA’s favor.  Whether VIA’s victory in this 2-year-old case will help both parties reach a settlement agreement over the patent for P4 products is a focus in the markets.  Since the object of the said suit involves a considerable number of patents, it is estimated that VIA will make the exact results of the trial public this week, if not later.
